How it works
- Tell us what happened. Use the form or phone. Plain words are fine — "it makes a noise and won't start" is a useful description.
- We look at it. Bring it in, or we come to you if it cannot travel.
- You get a number before we start. If the repair is not worth it, we say so.
- You get your data back. On anything involving storage, a copy is taken before any repair is attempted.
Before you bring anything in: if the machine still starts and your files matter, copy them somewhere else first. Any external drive will do. Repairs sometimes go sideways, and the copy you made yourself is the one you can rely on.
